Led by Kazutoshi Takeda, the Port-au-Prince Bokors defeated the Inverness Highlanders, 5-3. Takeda, a native of Kishiwada, Osaka, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Bokors. The Bokors now have a record of 13-18 with the win over Inverness.

With Port-au-Prince leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Takeda hit a screwball from Barry Mckinna for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bokors ahead, 4-0.

Takeda told a Port-au-Prince Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
