The timely hitting of Pete Davis helped the Scranton Scary Monsters down the Narragansett Seagulls, 8-2. Davis went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Scary Monsters. Masanobu Ozawa, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-3. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 10 and walking 2. The save went to Pamphile Barbadori, his 2nd this season.

Henry Cole had a big 2-run double for the Scary Monsters in the top of the third inning. With Scranton leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jaime Encarnación and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scary Monsters ahead, 4-0.

Narragansett manager Oscar Jackson said his team was "out of sync."

Their 19-13 record puts the Scary Monsters second in the Atlantic Alliance North.
