Hit Parade: Sasaki Gets Cycle
In an outing that will go down in the annals of league history, Youngstown designated hitter Toshinobu Sasaki hit for the cycle, as the Thunder marched to victory over the Liverpool Beatles, 11-5.

Sasaki collected 4 hits in 6 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored to help Youngstown take the Liverpool Baseball Stadium contest.

"It was the last thing on my mind, really," Sasaki said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway."

Toshinobu Sasaki hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jin-woo Dan in the 9th.
