The Santurce Castillos rode a solid performance from 21-year-old starting pitcher Nathan Cowan to a win, beating the Port-au-Prince Bokors, 5-2, at Le Parc du Port. Santurce is third in the Atlantic Alliance Euro-Caribbean with a record of 14-15.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Takanobu Nakashima? The Santurce right fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Castillos on top, 2-0. For the game, Nakashima had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Nakashima, "one at-bat at a time."
