Rebels Hold Off Consigliere, 3-2

Bowling Green Rebels starter Cristóbal Ayala was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Camden Consigliere, 3-2. Austin Hawkins closed it out for his 2nd save. Bowling Green goes to 14-13.
It could have been a different outcome for Bowling Green, had it not been for Sam Johnson, the 22-year old left fielder . Johnson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Bowling Green up, 2-1.
"Not enough offensively in a winnable game," said losing manager Edward Wright.
