Highlanders Get Hard-Earned Win
William Kerr pitched a gem to lead Inverness to victory over the Santurce Castillos, 2-1. Augusto Chávez earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. Santurce is 8-12 after the loss.

Inverness used the timely hitting of Paco Saucedo to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Highlanders on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Saucedo.
