Lobsters Go Down to Defeat, 4-2
|
The Youngstown Thunder converted a terrific effort from starter Kris King into a win over the Maine Lobsters at Ballpark of Maine. The Thunder won the game by a final score of 4-2. The win moves Youngstown to a record of 2-4.
Youngstown used the hitting of Ricardo Hernández to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Thunder on top, 2-0. For the game, Hernández had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Hernández told the Youngstown Citizen. "Whatever it takes."
