Youngstown turned a good performance from starting pitcher Ben Ford into a 4-1 triumph over the Monterey Sea Lions at Thunder Ballpark. Ford, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Mario Aquino earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.
