Folk Warriors Solve Mountaineers, 5-2
|
The Andong HS Folk Warriors handed the Canberra HS Mountaineers a 5-2 defeat at Andong Park. Right Fielder Yuda Ananas starred for Andong HS. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The save went to Chang-soo Yi, his 1st this season. The win has Andong HS at 2-0.
Andong HS took a 5-2 lead on Ananas's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Rhett Britz in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Andong HS to the win.
"We played hard and won," said Ananas. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
