Coqui Get Clutch Win Versus Havana
Crowds lined up early in front of PRTC Stadium, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2042 Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance season. On the mound was Volmer Buscher for the visiting Havana Leones and Vicente Díaz for the hometown San Juan Coqui. In a spirited contest, the Coqui pulled out the win, defeating the Leones by the score of 1-0. Especially impressive was Volmer Buscher. Soseki Yokoyama, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings.

San Juan got a knockout punch from Zinedine Cozens. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Cozens said.
