The Long Beach Oilers went home winners at Ballpark of Queens, thanks in large part to starter Kieran Ogg. Ogg stifled the Sacramento Deltas, enabling Long Beach to grab the 2-1 win. The win takes Long Beach to 8-10.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when Kanai Aliimalu hit a solo home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Cristóbal Hernández to win the game for Long Beach. The home crowd went wild.

"This wasn't a good win," said Aliimalu. "It was a great win."
