Deltas Lose to Tacoma, 5-1
The Tacoma Loggers locked up a win at Tacoma Stadium, knocking off the Sacramento Deltas, 5-1. On the mound for Tacoma was right-hander David Truscott. He played a major role in the triumph. The Loggers, now 12-3, have stormed out of the gates.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Tacoma Stadium crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Tacoma skipper Luke Hall.
