Tacoma took on Sacramento in front of a lively crowd.

Tacoma third baseman Morihiro Morimoto was instrumental in helping the Loggers triumph, 7-3, over the Sacramento Deltas. Morimoto went 1-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Picking up his 3rd save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Frederick.

In the first inning, Morimoto had a 3-run home run for Tacoma. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Loggers on top, 3-0.

"This was a total team effort," said Morimoto.

The hot start continues for the defending champion Loggers. This was their 10th win in 13 games.
