Elio Polandi was locked in. The right-hander led the Yuma Arroyos to a 6-4 win against the Madison Malts at Salt Lick Stadium. The win belonged to Terrence Brown in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Miguel Árias took the loss for Madison. Yuma has a mark of 3-11 after the win.

Yuma got a knockout punch from Geun-pyo Ch'ae. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Even if things get a little hairy, Elio trusts his ability," said Yuma manager Kiyohisa Takeda.
