Remuda Sneak By Loggers, 4-3
|
The Boise Remuda overcame a pretty good performance by Tacoma left fielder Giampaolo Eremitani, beating the Loggers, 4-3, at Boise Ballpark. Eremitani went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The save went to Sylvester Mills, his 2nd this season. Tacoma, with the loss, is still a stout 8-2.
Boise took a 4-3 lead on Bennie Dawson's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Dawson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tacoma pitcher Víctor Oliver visibly frustrated.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Tacoma manager Luke Hall.
