Roadrunners Heading to Puerto Rico Showdown

The Semifinales didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.
But the Aguadilla Roadrunners are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Trujillo Alto Maracas 4-2 to advance to the Puerto Rico Showdown.
"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Roadrunners second baseman Ricardo Rivera. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."
Aguadilla won the final game by a score of 3-0 at Maracas Ballpark.
Rivera was named series MVP after hitting .462 with a .481 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Aguadilla Roadrunners don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Juan Sharks - Bayamon Predators series. Bayamon leads the series 3 games to 2. The Puerto Rico Showdown schedule will be announced after the Semifinales finishes.
