Shisa Lose 2-1 Decision to Niihama-shi
|
Connor Leith, the 4th overall pick in the 2032 draft, was terrific for the Niihama-shi Ghosts in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Okinawa Shisa. His performance earned Leith rave reviews. The winner was Leith. He threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Seung-kab Park. The win gives Niihama-shi a record of 6-7.
Yen-ti Wang had a direct impact on the outcome. Wang contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Niihama-shi up, 2-0.
"Connor can pitch. He moves the ball around," said Niihama-shi manager Nobuhito Hasegawa.
