Raucous Northern Lights Park Crowd Propels Borealis to 7-4 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Aurora Borealis got a strong game from starter Dae-hyun Pak, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Borealis took the 7-4 win over the Shin Seiki Evas in Game 2 of the Divisional in a 10th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Pak. Pak threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which brought the Borealis into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Aurora got a clutch hit from Pedro Luján. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Luján, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Genesis Park in Nagoya.
