Mystique Cruise to IBC Cup with Sweep

Lewis Halfacre said he expected the Championship to be "a battle from start to finish."
In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Montserrat Mystique encountered little resistance in sweeping the Suwon Morning Swords, to advance to the IBC Cup.
"It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Halfacre.
Montserrat won the final game by a 6-4 count and were led in the series by Halfacre, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .500 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Montserrat Mystique don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Mogadishu Pirates - Djibouti Soldato series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The IBC Cup schedule will be announced after the Championship finishes.
