Raucous Genesis Park Crowd Propels Evas to 6-4 Victory; Series Tied at 1
Niihama-shi left fielder Joseph Oulton pounded Shin Seiki Evas pitchers at Genesis Park, but it was not enough to keep the Ghosts from falling, 6-4, in Game 2 of the Wild Card. Oulton belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2, though he couldn't prevent the Ghosts from slipping into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Héctor Ramírez, the Shin Seiki right fielder, contributed a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-3, Evas. For the game, Ramírez went 1-3 with a home run and a walk.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ramírez.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 3rd , 2042 at Oikake Maze in Niihama.
