A 4-RBI performance from the 18-year old second baseman Dave McIver helped the Port Royal Privateers beat the Puerto Plata Pacos, 8-0. Juan Pérez was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. The setback makes Puerto Plata 47-39.
Early in the game, McIver had a 2-run home run for Port Royal. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Privateers on top, 2-0.
