Santo Domingo beat Bridgetown on the strength of starting pitcher Bill McMenemy's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. The win hiked the Santo Domingo record to 42-42.

Silvestre Tassara, who is tied for 5th in the IBC in stolen bases with 26, came through for Santo Domingo with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Tassara.
