Hughes Hits 3 Dingers, Flying Fish Win, 8-5

Bridgetown and Santo Domingo duked it out and the Flying Fish came out victorious.
The Bridgetown Flying Fish beat the Santo Domingo Decepticons, 8-5, at The Pit of Kaon. Artie Hughes, who is tied for 5th in the IBC with a .997 OPS, starred for Bridgetown. He hit 3 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. Valentín Mejía recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 24 for 28.
Javier García had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Bridgetown. With the bases loaded and the Flying Fish leading 4-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"The credit goes to our offense," said Bridgetown manager Doug Erickson.
Bridgetown now has a record of 45-38 with the win.
