Bugbie Shackles Santo Domingo in 3-1 Mystique Win
|
Montserrat got a first-rate effort from pitcher Allan Bugbie, who frustrated Santo Domingo hitters en route to a 3-1 Mystique triumph at Soufriere Hills Park. The Mystique own a robust 53-26 mark.
The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Bugbie. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Mystique. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Decepticons, striking out 6 and scattering 2 hits over 7 innings. Bugbie is now 9-3 on the season.
"I felt like I had pretty good command of mostly everything," said Bugbie.
