The Aruba Wahoos earned a win at Safeway Grounds, knocking off the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 6-3. On the bump for Aruba was right-hander António Medina. He had a starring role in the triumph. Marco Olazbal earned the save, his 2nd in 3 tries. Aruba's winning streak has reached 4 games.
Aruba used a well-timed hit by Michael Ramsey to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Wahoos ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Medina.
