The Narragansett Seagulls took down the Maine Lobsters by the score of 6-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Wild Card. The largest share of the credit belongs to Narragansett starter Jaime Encarnación, who threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball.

In the top of the first, Sadaharu Okamura ambushed a 2-2 fastball from Fergus Smith and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Narragansett a quick 2-0 lead.

"Jaime mixed and matched," said Narragansett manager Oscar Jackson.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Narragansett Stadium in Narragansett.
