Already down in the Round 3, the Dunedin HS Scots put on their best show, beating the Taitung HS Hermits by a final score of 6-4. Hi-yuan Chong was special. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. Dunedin HS now trails Taitung HS 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

Dunedin HS used a well-timed hit by Wes Makepeace to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Scots ahead, 5-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Every team in baseball loses," Hermits manager Oscar Olson said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday at Dunedin Ballpark in Dunedin.
