Bruins Take 2-1 Lead with 7-3 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Nathan Scott, the Wilson Classical HS Bruins stopped the visiting Tumwater HS Thunderhawks, 7-3, in Game 3 of the Round 3. Scott was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bruins, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

In the bottom of the 6th, left fielder Pedro Rivera gave Wilson Classical HS the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Bruins had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out double off Tumwater HS pitcher Pete Hall changed that -- and Wilson Classical HS went on to win.

"We're feeling good about this," said Bruins manager Román Guerrero. "We have got an advantage now and we just need to keep the pressure on."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bruins Ballpark in Long Beach.
