Villanova Hands California 3-0 Loss
Starter Roger Snow was sensational for the Villanova Starbursts in his team's 3-0 triumph over the California Campaniles in Game 2 of the USCBA Championship Series. Snow pitched well, but Villanova picked up the win to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Starbursts had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when shortstop Kent González hit a 2-run single. The single came off Leonard Smith and made the score 2-0, Starbursts. González went 2 for 3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.

"We're not going to sweep 'em," González said in response to a question after the game. "California is too good not to take a game somewhere."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, May 26th , 2042 at Ballpark of California in Berkeley.
