Wallabies Clip Padres, 3-2, in R3 Contest
The University of Sydney Wallabies got a strong game from starter Declan Wilson, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Wallabies took the 3-2 win over the Pontificia Universidad Padres in Game 4 of the Round 3 in a 13th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Wilson. Wilson threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball in the win, which brought the Wallabies into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the 13th inning. That's when first baseman Li-ren Fu stepped to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.

"Declan throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said University of Sydney manager Ken McLaren.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sydney Cricket Grounds in Sydney.
