Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Bruins, 5-4
Wilson Classical HS Bruins center fielder Jeremy Fritz was the difference-maker at Bruins Ballpark, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Round 2. The Bruins took the 5-4 win over the Mankato West HS Reds to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Pedro Rivera was a prime contributor to the Wilson Classical HS win. He went 2-4 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth with two out, the 18-year old left fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 4-2, in favor of the Bruins.

"As soon as the season ends, I'm walking out of the clubhouse and leaving on vacation," Fritz said. "Can't wait."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, May 12th , 2042 at Mankato Park in Mankato.
