Reed, Panthers Sink Ligers Again in Game 4
When the games really matter, the DeSoto Central HS Panthers put on their best show, beating the Blanchard HS Ligers by a final score of 6-0. Greg Reed went 5 for 5 with a home run and 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. DeSoto Central HS now leads Blanchard HS 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

DeSoto Central HS used a clutch at-bat from Ron Kelley to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Panthers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It's always fun to see the other guys getting frustrated, but the series isn't over and we've got to make sure to keep them on their heels," DeSoto Central HS manager Gregg Rodgers said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ligers Ballpark in Blanchard.
