3-2 Bears Win Evens Series With Knights
The Winter Springs HS Bears took down the West Lauderdale HS Knights by the score of 3-2 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Round 2. The largest share of the credit belongs to Winter Springs HS starter Josh Morris, who threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Bears grabbed the lead when Jeremy Quinn rapped a two-out double. Winter Springs HS was trailing 2-1, when Quinn hit a 2-run double off César Delgado to put his team in front, 3-2.

"By the skin of our teeth, man," Quinn told the Winter Springs HS Gazette. "But hey, it still counts. A few more by the skin of our teeth is fine with me."

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Ballpark of West Lauderdale HS in Collinsville.
