Seton Hall Win to Pull Even With Villanova
|
The Seton Hall Rampage and the Villanova Starbursts will take the Regionals to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Rampage beat the Starbursts, 5-3, at Starbursts Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Seton Hall catcher Toby Cole was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Washington, Ohio native Toby Cole had a clutch at-bat in the top of the seventh for the Rampage. With Seton Hall trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run home run.
"This is a very good team," said Cole. "We have the chance to do something special."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Starbursts Ballpark in Lower Merion.
