Pride Win, Move to Within 1 Game of Super Regionals
The Penn State Pride moved to within one game of the Super Regionals, downing the East Carolina Sea Dawgs on the road at Sea Dawgs Ballpark by a score of 2-1. Pride right-hander Lonnie Hubbard had a strong outing. He threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Pride a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Regionals.

Ben Fuller came through with a big-time hit for Penn State. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"That felt great," Hubbard said. "It basically means we're going on to the Super Regionals, which I know I'm not supposed to say, but let's face it, it's true."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sea Dawgs Ballpark in Greenville.
