Ho Leads Trendsetters to 4-0 Win over Thoroughbreds
At Raceway Park, the Kentucky Thoroughbreds and New Orleans Trendsetters were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

New Orleans pitcher Li-zhu Ho had a large part in his team subduing the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, 4-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. The win puts the Trendsetters at 55-66, while the Thoroughbreds drop to 56-66.

Ho, a native of Shanghai, China, was dealing all game. He kept Kentucky hitters off-balance, while giving the Trendsetters 8.1 quality innings. Ho threw 120 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.

Said losing manager Francisco Pérez: "Give the Trendsetters credit. They played a better game than we did."
