Riding the 3-hit performance of center fielder Tim Draper, the Tumwater HS Thunderhawks flattened the De La Salle HS Myrmidon, 11-2, in Game 2 of the Round 1. Draper went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Thunderhawks, who now lead 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.

In the bottom of the fourth, Tumwater HS second baseman Harvey McCabe had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out, McCabe stroked a 3-run home run to center. It made the score 8-0, Tumwater HS. For the game, he went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice.
