The Fargo Dinosaurs defeated the Kalamazoo Badgers, 8-5. Center Fielder Min-han Yu deserved a large share of the credit. Yu went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Dinosaurs. Fargo starter Roberto Rivera was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 8.2 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. Fernando Sánchez got the save, the 4th for him this season.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Daniel Payne? The Fargo second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Dinosaurs on top, 3-0. For the game, Payne had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Kalamazoo manager José Guillén.
