The Arlington Bureaucrats topped the West Virginia Alleghenies, 1-0, in Imperial League action at Watt Powell Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Arlington pitcher Dennis Villarreal. José López earned the save, his 10th, for the Bureaucrats. Arlington occupies second place in the Imperial League Seaboard at 59-62.

Villarreal delivered a quality start for Arlington. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 8 innings of work.

"You don't always need a lot of runs to win," said Villarreal. "Sometimes you need just one or two."
