The Manchester Maulers stymied the New Jersey Hitmen, 6-2, at Mercer County Waterfront Park. Pablo Orocumojica had a good day at the plate. He was 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles for Manchester. Manchester reliever Masami Kamihara picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Mike Hall absorbed the loss. The 4th-place Maulers now have a win-loss record of 47-72.

Manchester took a 1-0 lead on Orocumojica's 2nd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which he hit off Mike Hall in the top of the sixth, propelled Manchester to the win.

"Whenever I help the team," said Orocumojica, "I feel like I earned my paycheck."
