Wahoos Defeat Flying Fish, 7-6
The Aruba Wahoos defeated the Bridgetown Flying Fish, 7-6, in 10 innings in Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action at The Fish Bowl. Aruba pitcher José Morales had a standout performance. Aruba reliever Enrique Martínez picked up the win. Valentín Mejía, who is tied for 6th in the IBC in saves with 20, took the loss for Bridgetown. The Wahoos sit in third place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Paradise League with a record of 37-36.

The Wahoos got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Raúl Saldaña. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Wahoos.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Saldaña told the Aruba News.
