Tassara has 3 hits as Decepticons Squash Wahoos
At The Pit of Kaon, the Aruba Wahoos and Santo Domingo Decepticons were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Santo Domingo Decepticons beat the Aruba Wahoos, 14-2, at The Pit of Kaon. The win was due in part to right fielder Silvestre Tassara, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Bill McMenemy got the win, improving to 5-2. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 3.

Tassara contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Santo Domingo in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Tassara took a fastball from Berta Oluyemi and stroked the double to left. His 14th double of the season allowed the Decepticons to leap in front, 2-1.

"Talk about a forgettable performance," said losing manager Jason Sargent.

At 35-34, the Decepticons claim 4th place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Paradise League.
