Collegio San Carlo Scrapes Out 3-1 Win
Starting pitcher Ruggero Bonometti was a major factor in the 3-1 Collegio San Carlo Kings triumph over the Point Grey HS Hounds. Oliviero Nicoletti notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. Felicio Cimabue was credited with the save for Collegio San Carlo, his 8th of the season.

Collegio San Carlo used the timely hitting of Doriano Boccherini to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Kings on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The other side played a good game," said Point Grey HS manager José Díaz. "You tip your cap to them."

The Kings improved their record to 19-18 by beating Point Grey HS.
