Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Nassau HS Coasters take on the Gonaives HS Revolution.

Thanks in large part to right fielder Joseph Courtois, the Gonaives HS Revolution beat the Nassau HS Coasters, 6-1. Courtois went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ulysse Dubus, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 2.

Gonaives HS used a well-timed hit by Henri Vidal to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Revolution ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Courtois said.

With the win, the Revolution have a record of 23-16.
