Diamond Cats Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Rifles, 4-3
The Diamond Cats grabbed a win, 4-3, at Rifles Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Eton pitcher Colm Hollington. Hollington went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. The Diamond Cats go to 22-15, putting them second in the Atlantic Conference Caribbean Division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Luis Herrera? The 17-year old first baseman Herrera stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Guantanamo HS up, 4-3. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.

"I always go out there hoping to contribute," said Herrera.
