Win Goes to Stags in Tight Contest
Hunting Hills HS beat Nassau HS at Hunting Hills Ballpark, eking out a 3-2 win in 17 innings. The win was due in large part to catcher Travis Badger. He was 4 for 7 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. Hunting Hills HS reliever Stan McLeod picked up the win. Colin Case took the loss for Nassau HS. The second-place Stags have a record of 19-15.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 17th. With no one out, Badger hit a fastball from Colin Case for a solo home run. The Stags, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Nassau HS manager Muneyaki Koga said, following the tough loss.
