Revolution Lose to Kings in Walk-Off
|
The Collegio San Carlo Kings defeated the Gonaives HS Revolution, 4-1, at San Carlo Grounds. Collegio San Carlo third baseman Armond Cuzzocrea had a superb performance. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Today's win puts Collegio San Carlo at 16-16, while Gonaives HS falls to 19-13.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Cuzzocrea hit a changeup from Orlando López for a 3-run home run. The Kings, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Cuzzocrea told the Collegio San Carlo Daily.
