Fishermen Fall to Underground Late

The London Underground had to overcome a good performance from Gloucester pitcher Richard Cervantes to claim a 3-2 win at Paul Moots Stadium. Cervantes went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. London is now 61-55.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Steve Potter? The 21-year old second baseman Potter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put London up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Potter. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
