Dublin Downs Bowness HS, 2-0
|
Randall Tynnan never let Bowness HS get something going. The Dublin left-hander commanded his sinker in pitching the Shamrocks to a 2-0 win. Dublin has a record of 13-12, placing them 4th in the Atlantic Conference Europa Division.
Eamonn MacIvor drove in one run for Dublin. The 18-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Gannon Boyle. It was his 11th RBI of the season.
Bowness HS manager Rossano Carlucci, after the game, said, "Right now, we're just not getting that big hit."
