Kentucky took on San Antonio in front of a lively crowd.

The Kentucky Thoroughbreds got a good effort from starter Jae-hoon Yi in defeating the San Antonio Calzones of Laredo at Raceway Park. The final score was 6-0. Kentucky, at 54-64, sits in 4th place in the Imperial League Dixie.

Kentucky took the lead, 1-0, on Ramón Francisco's 24th home run of the season. The solo home run came off San Antonio pitcher James McCoy in the bottom of the seventh.

"For the most part, I didn't think they knew what was coming," said Yi.
